This print was taken from an acrylic painting which was in response to a Woodborough Art Group ‘’Challenge “. The challenge required a painting created without the use of a brush so I used a palette knife and a small artistic trowel.
On completion of the painting I wrote the following haiku :
Headstocks in the gloom
Evoke fading memories
Of daily pit life
