Workshops

I have run a number of workshops, which include working with a local school and also a Bereavement Group.

The aim is to provide a fun and varied environment where the sole aim is to create. No drawing skills are necessary as they can be developed later with practice… I used to doodle all the time, especially in meetings, which helped me concentrate whilst at the same time I was practicing my drawing skills.

We play with colour and different materials in a series of exercises and I have included some examples below:

The pupils were learning about the Medieval times in class and we therefore adopted this as a theme.. A copy of some of the material I used is included below in a PDF,  which I updated each week.

I also provided a demonstration each week at the front of class and took questions.

Drawing exercises following the class theme of Medieval period looking particularly at lights and darks. These are some of the wonderful work completed by Year 10.

Harlech Castle

I then drew various images of castles which I then cut into squares and the kids added the colour before we put the images back together:

Work with an Adult Bereavement Group I belong to…

We worked with colour and texture… fun but messy!

We drew a cartoon image… to illustrate that we can all draw!
